Can Subliminal Audio Messages Improve Your Sex Life?

There is much talk about how subliminal audio messaging can improve many areas of your life so when I saw that my favourite subliminal MP3 company had released some MP3′s related to dating and sexuality, I was naturally curious.

And it also raised an interesting question for me. That is: ‘Does subliminal audio messaging or any kind of treatment designed to give you the mindset of a pick-up artiste actually do the person any good? AND (not that I really want to go all PC on everybody) do they promote healthy attitudes towards women and dating?

In order to find out, I did a bit of research to see if anyone had feedback on this subject and even spoke to a couple of friends of mine who had partaken in the ‘pickup scene’ to see what I could find out.

The results were kind of what I was expecting. Both of the guys I interviewed said although at first they were really impressed with themselves and their newfound skills, the gloss did wear off after a while. One of them reported that he didn’t really like the way he was ‘manipulating’ the women he was meeting and actually found that he found the women he spoke to quite uninteresting, so there was quantity more than quality. If I may take the liberty of translating guyspeak for a minute here, I think what he was trying to say was that the novelty of meeting lots of women wore off and he became more interested in meeting more ‘quality’ women.

The other guy agreed that he was meeting more women as his image of women became de-mystified which allowed him to gain more self-confidence. He also realised how many women he previously admired from a distance actually became less interesting the more he got to know them and that he found himself wanting to meet someone who was more of a mental challenge.

So what does this tell us?

Ok, so I now realise that guys are not as rubbish as women make them out to be . But there’s also this point to note:

Both guys I spoke to were adamant that they would not be in the successful relationships they are both in now had they not undergone some kind of ‘pickup artist’ training. Why? Because the self-confidence factor they recieved from it allowed them to recognise what they were really looking for in women (character, smarts, self-confidence,as opposed to mere validation) and they had the courage to approach those women when they found them.

So I guess the moral of the story here is that, developing the mind of a pickup artist can work for people in the end.
