Forget anything negative you have heard about money being the root of evil. Money is of itself, neither a positive or a negative force and how much of it you have is simply a result of how strong your conviction is that you deserve to have it.
If your head is full of the conviction that rich people are greedy or power-hungry or must have done something illegal in order to gather the riches that they have, then you don’t have a wealthy mindset. And if you don’t have a wealthy mindset, then no amount of hard work you do will make up for your lack of money.
The fact is that people who have a lot of money have a strong conviction that there is nothing wrong with being rich and that it is something that they deserve. I would go as far as saying that most wealthy people also believe that money can potentially be a source for good. Money provides valuable resources that helps to build lives, supports families and provides us with our evening meal.
So money is a resource that allows us to achieve what we want out of life. But different people have different motivations for becoming wealthy. Some people believe that the world is full of abundance and that money can be used to produce positive things. Therefore they believe that wealth is a worthy goal and easy to achieve. And for these people, it generally is easy to achieve, as these beliefs are in harmony with those of the sub-conscious which is always striving us towards growth and better things.Sadly, the majority of people desire money out of a poverty mindset. They see that there is not enough to go around and that whatever they do have, they need to stockpile for the future.
The difference between these two ideas is crucial. If your desire is to acquire wealth as a means to doing good in the world, then the money manifestation will come very easily to you. If, on the other hand, you are like the vast majority of people who seek money because they fear that there is not enough to go around in the world, then they will always be faced with the prospect of lack and they and the rest of the world will suffer. So, while it is true that the love of money for money’s sake, otherwise known as greed, is ‘the root of all evil’, the desire to acquire wealth in order to do good for the world is actually a worthy pursuit. Wanting a little (or a lot) to come your way so that you can quit your day job and focus on the things that you are really good at and which bring you happiness is nothing for you to feel guilty about. It’s the motivation that is important.
The only way to become wealthy is to develop a positive ‘wealth consciousness’ by allowing the concept of abundance to grow inside your consciousness. Focus on the good things that money can achieve and how it can benefit you and people around you. Only then will you start to see the dollars roll in.
