When it comes to attracting money now, most us have tried the conventional tips such as visualising, making affirmations and writing down your money goals but many people are not focussing on some of the more unconventional or what I like to call counter-intuitive things you can do in order to attract money. So in this post, I am going to outline two examples of behaviours you might think don’t make a lot of sense or that do make a lot of sense but that you have avoided trying because of that inherent ‘fear factor’ that raises its ugly head.
So what are these examples and why do I say they they are ‘counter-intuitive’?
Well both of them are based on the premise that the more you give, the more you will recieve. This is important because giving is one of the most important principles of attracting money and yet it the thing we are often most reluctant to try. I guess years and years of being told the way to make money is be wise with your spending and to save and invest has just built up in our minds and this is a pretty difficult idea to budge. But we are not trying to save money here – we are trying to attract money and this is infinitely easier than saving.
Attract Money Now by Prosperous Spending.
This is one of the principles of attracting money that was set out in Joe Vitle’s book and it operates on how you feel when you spend money. Ok, we all have to spend money but when you do, do you do it joyfully on things that you know will enhance you life and really take pleasure in the purchase, or do you do it with a sense of fear of what the purchase is going to do to your credit card? If you are like most people, then you do it with a mild sense of fear and maybe even guilt, both of which are highly unlikely to bring you any success. In fact, it is a direct result of the scarcity mindset. It shows to the universe that you don’t believe you have the power to attract money. I’m not suggesting you start becoming frivolous with your spending – it’s not about that at all. But you should remember that the positive feelings that prosperous spending brings is what brings more positive feelings into your life. In other words it’s Ok to gloat over that magnificent pair of boots you just purchased (I do it all the time) because that abundant feeling you get from parading them around to your friends is likely to attract more of those feelings.
Attract Money Now by Caring For Your Community
The second principle here is the principle of caring for your community and your world by giving donations. Now, I know many of you probably already give donations to worthwhile charities and you feel good about that and that’s excellent. If this is you, then keep doing it. If it’s not you, then start doing it. It is of the utmost importance that you participate in your community because whatever you do for other people will end up coming right back to you. Don’t think for one minute that money and altruism are seperate concepts. They are as intertwined with each other as we are with our universe.
Besides, when you start to think beyond yourself and your own needs, you start to release blockages that were previously preventing money from coming to you. Team this up with regular thoughts of gratitude and you have just incorporated some real magic into the equation.
And always remember this: money is an energy and just like any form of energy, it needs to be cleared from time to time. It also needs to flow and move and circulate. If you become an agent for this to happen, then you will find that more and more money is magnetised towards you.
